Images and Adsense ads - Replied by Adsense team

In my post about Images near Adsense Ads, I was not very clear whether the way I implemented my adsense ad against Google Adsense TOS or not. That's why I sent an email to Adsense support to ask them more details on optimized adsense ads on my blog.

Here's what they answer me:

Hi Ha,

We ask that you exercise caution when placing images near the Google ads on your site, as AdSense publishers may not rely on deceptive implementation methods to generate clicks.

To be specific, we ask that publishers not place misleading images near Google ads or use images that appear to be directly associated with the advertisers and their offerings, even if it is separated by a dotted line. The use of such images may confuse users and result in unintentional clicks.

In my previous post, I mentioned 3 points to implement adsense ads near images:

1. The images that used to place near adsense ads must not associated with the ads.
2. The space in between should be wide enough to separate images and adsense ads.
3. A line should be placed in between images and adsense ads to separate these two.

Now we are all clear that we can place images near adsense ads. But keep in mind that, the misleading images is not allow.
